DataRume
Secure, token-gated data rooms for sharing sensitive documents.

Overview
DataRume is a decentralised platform for secure document sharing. According to its docs, each data room is represented by a Data NFT and access is controlled with Data Tokens — so only holders of a valid token can open the files inside.
My role
I was the sole full-stack developer and built the entire platform UI from scratch in Next.js 14.
Exaflair delivered its Web3 client products from design through deployment on Optimism, Ethereum and Base, across mainnet and testnet.
What I built
- The secure document-sharing experience, with role-based permissions across multiple access tiers
- An audit-trail dashboard showing document access events, user activity and permission changes in real time
- Support for users' own AWS S3 buckets, with an upload and management UI — so their data never sits on shared infrastructure
Technical approach
Next.js 14 and TypeScript, with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui, role-based access control throughout, and AWS S3 for storage. Sign-in uses email magic links or a connected wallet.
